Dresden Sustainability Festival begins with community events

The Dresden Sustainability Festival, titled ‘Dear Future’, has commenced its festival weeks. The event begins with a session at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden ‘Montagscafé’ under the motto ‘Connected – For a fair, global togetherness’. Activities include a swap and donation market, screen printing, upcycling workshops for soap, and various cultural discussions and consultations.

Other local activities in Dresden include the ‘Stadtradeln’ cycling campaign, which continues through September 27, and a bicycle tour organized by NAJU and NABU Dresden. Additionally, Alexander Estis will hold a satirical reading at the Volkshochschule Dresden regarding Yiddish terms in the German language.
