Drew Brees to be Inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026

Former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will be officially enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2026. Brees, who played 20 seasons in the NFL after being drafted by the San Diego Chargers in 2001, highlighted his love of the game and the camaraderie with teammates as the core motivation behind his long‑term success. He reflected that he never imagined a Hall of Fame honor, noting the honor is “overwhelming and deeply humbling.”

Since retiring in March 2021, Brees has worked as a broadcaster for Fox and Netflix, remains active in sports through coaching, basketball, surfing and mountain biking, and supports his children’s athletic pursuits. His induction follows a career that includes a Super Bowl victory in 2010 and numerous NFL records.
