The gym footage was captured on the set of his upcoming historical action drama The Last Druid, which is being filmed in Spain, and also serves to promote the Highlander reboot slated for release in 2027‑2028. Crowe’s transformation has drawn comparisons to his iconic role as Maximus in Gladiator.
