Dries van Langendonck Gains Max Verstappen’s Back for Formula 1 Push

Fifteen‑year‑old Belgian racer Dries van Langendonck, who joined Verstappen Racing last month, is being championed by four‑time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen. Van Langendonck currently leads the British Formula 4 championship with four victories in 18 races and has already won the Formula Winter Series. He is also part of the McLaren Driver Development Programme.

Verstappen said the young driver shows natural speed and talent, but emphasized that support and the right team environment are essential for a Formula 1 future. He pledged to work with McLaren and his own management to help van Langendonck make the next step toward the top tier of motorsport.
