Dritan Abazovic launches campaign branding Montenegro as stress‑relief destination
Montenegrin‑born media personality Dritan Abazovic announced a new tourism drive that presents Montenegro as a therapeutic cure for modern stress. He urged people experiencing anxiety, family problems or general nervousness to spend five to ten days in the country, describing the stay as a prescription for wellbeing.
The campaign highlights Montenegro’s varied attractions – from coastal yachting and luxury resorts to mountain landscapes such as Durmitor, Biogradska Gora, and the Black Lake, as well as cultural sites in Lovćen and traditional villages. Abazovic also promotes nature‑based activities on rivers and the Adriatic, as well as electronic‑music festivals for younger visitors. He concluded by calling on the Ministry of Tourism to market the nation explicitly as a health‑oriented destination.
The initiative aims to boost visitor numbers by framing the Montenegrin experience as a holistic antidote to everyday pressures.
