Driver fined 180,000 lira after assaulting female motorist on Istanbul's TEM highway

A traffic altercation on the TEM highway in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, escalated when driver I.B. deliberately cut off a female driver and exited his vehicle to confront her. He verbally abused her and struck her smartphone to stop the recording of the incident.

Civil traffic police identified I.B., imposed a fine of 180,000 Turkish lira, and ordered a 60‑day suspension of both his driver's licence and his vehicle. He was taken into custody for further legal proceedings.
