A recent fatal traffic accident in Brașov has renewed discussions regarding the impact of chronic illnesses on driving capabilities. The incident, which resulted in two deaths, raised questions about the health status of the driver involved. Dr. Radu Țincu, head of the intensive care unit at Floreasca Hospital, noted uncertainties regarding potential neurological conditions that may affect a driver's ability to operate a vehicle safely.

Experts highlight that certain chronic conditions, such as neurological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and vision impairments, can be incompatible with driving if not properly managed.
