Driver hospitalized after supermarket parking lot crash in Poland

A serious accident occurred in a supermarket parking lot when a vehicle, for unknown reasons, crashed into a shopping cart shelter and subsequently struck three other vehicles.

Emergency responders, including two teams from the State Fire Service (JRG nr 17), arrived at the scene to secure the area and conduct rescue operations. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to remove damaged elements of the shelter to prevent further hazards and disconnected the power to the involved Jeep Laredo to minimize fire risks.

The driver sustained injuries to their right arm and was evacuated from the vehicle using a spinal board. Medical teams provided urgent first aid before transporting the individual to South Hospital for further examination. Police have taken over the scene to investigate the cause of the collision.
