Truck driver found dead in Rio Branco after coconut delivery

A truck driver, identified as Ronielison Romão, approximately 40 years old, was found dead inside his Scania truck in Rio Branco, Acre. The driver, a native of Bahia, had traveled to the region to deliver coconuts.

The incident occurred in the Baixada da Sobral region on Rua Juricaba. After completing the delivery at a coconut water company, Romão returned to his vehicle around 6:00 PM. When the business owner was unable to reach him via message and noticed the truck remained parked, he checked the vehicle and discovered the driver was unresponsive.

Emergency medical services (SAMU) were called to the scene, but they could only confirm the death. Authorities have launched an investigation, and the body has been sent to the Medical Legal Institute (IML) for examinations. While a sudden heart attack is being considered as a possible cause, official results are pending.
