Traffic accidents in İnönü, Gönyeli, and Gemikonağı leave 7 injured

Three separate traffic accidents occurring in İnönü, Gönyeli, and Gemikonağı resulted in seven injuries and one arrest.

In the first incident at the İnönü junction, a collision between two vehicles left five people injured. While four individuals were discharged from Gazimağusa State Hospital, one passenger, Emrah Taş, was transferred to Lefkoşa Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital with broken ribs and a collarbone.

A second accident in Gönyeli involved a driver, Emre Erdoğan, who was found to have a blood alcohol level of 112 mg. He struck the rear of another vehicle and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.

A third accident took place in Gemikonağı on Ecevit Street, where an 18-year-old driver with a 92 mg blood alcohol level lost control of his vehicle and struck a lighting pole and a sign. This crash resulted in two injuries, with the driver and a passenger being taken to Cengiz Topel State Hospital for observation.
