Driver injured in car rollover on Route 9 in Romera Pozo

A 26-year-old driver was injured after his vehicle overturned on National Route 9 near Romera Pozo, in the Leales Department, on Sunday morning. The accident occurred around 06:30 to 07:00 at kilometer 1257.

The driver was operating a white Chevrolet Corsa Classic, traveling from south to north, when he lost control of the vehicle for reasons currently under investigation.

The individual was transported to the Santa Rosa de Leales Hospital, where medical staff diagnosed him with multiple traumas and a mild traumatic brain injury (TBI). He remains under medical observation. Local police and the relevant criminal prosecutor's office are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
