A1 motorway incident and regional traffic disruptions

Significant traffic disruptions and security incidents occurred across the region. On the A1 motorway in Croatia, near the Draganić rest area, police intervened to prevent a clash between approximately 150 members of the Torcida and 150 members of the Armada football supporter groups. The incident, involving masked fans running along the motorway, led to a total halt of traffic toward Zagreb and caused massive queues. Police utilized helicopters and intervention units to manage the situation, eventually reopening the motorway around 17:00.

In a separate incident in Zagreb, a fire at a car dealership on Zagrebačka cesta destroyed several luxury vehicles, including Audis and Mercedes-Benz models. Local reports suggest the possibility of arson involving Molotov cocktails, following previous suspicious activity at the same location.

Additionally, a fatal traffic accident was reported on the road between Višegrad and Ustiprača, where a driver lost control and struck a tunnel wall. In Belgrade, a collision between a car and a city bus caused traffic congestion near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building.
