In Hong Kong, a 26-year-old driver surnamed Chu was arrested after his private car lost control and struck a traffic light at the junction of Des Voeux Road Central and Lung Wo Road in Central during the early hours of October 20. Police reported that the driver failed a breathalyzer test, confirming he was driving under the influence of alcohol. No injuries were reported in the incident.
In Taiwan, a man surnamed Liao was arrested in Luzhou after reversing his vehicle into a cyclist and 11 parked vehicles, including cars and motorcycles.
