Drivers sought after abandoning vehicles following accidents

Separate traffic incidents involving abandoned vehicles have been reported in Coronel Oviedo, Paraguay, and Fortín, Mexico.

In Coronel Oviedo, a Fiat Uno rolled without a driver and struck a parked Toyota New Corolla belonging to Roberto Maidana, an official of the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE). The collision occurred on Roberto González Chávez street around 07:10 on Tuesday. Witnesses reported seeing a woman and her child park the Fiat Uno, but the owner failed to return to the scene to address the damage to the parked vehicle.

In Fortín, a driver abandoned a pickup truck at a Walmart parking lot entrance after colliding with another vehicle on the Córdoba-Fortín boulevard. The accident occurred around 11:00 on Monday. After the impact, the driver left the vehicle partially obstructing the entrance. Local police and transit authorities seized the truck and moved it to an impound lot for investigation.
