DroneFlight România partners with Autel Robotics for security solutions

DroneFlight România has announced a partnership to become an official partner and authorized dealer for Autel Robotics in Romania. The collaboration, unveiled at the Romanian Security Fair 2026, focuses on providing drone solutions for public safety, security, critical infrastructure protection, and energy sector inspections.

DroneFlight România, co-founded by Ștefan Ecxarcu and two Dutch partners, plans to offer comprehensive services including technical hardware and software, consultancy for authorizations, implementation, and maintenance. The company's initial investment is estimated at 300,000 euros, with potential growth up to one million euros.

In a separate industrial development, German manufacturer Schaeffler AG will assemble a new batch of drones for the French military. These drones, known as MX-10 Damocles, are being produced by Delair and the Franco-German group KNDS. The project utilizes automotive manufacturing capabilities to mass-produce small kamikaze drones designed to target light armored vehicles and small naval vessels.
