DroneShield reports $261m in committed revenue amid share price decline

DroneShield has reported $261 million in committed revenue for the 2026 financial year, placing the company at the midpoint of its previously established annual revenue outlook. This figure represents a 35% increase compared to the same period in 2025 and exceeds its total revenue for the entire 2025 financial year.

The counter-drone technology developer is seeing increased diversification, with non-military customers now accounting for 15% of revenue. Geographically, Europe and the United Kingdom contributed 52% of first-half revenue, followed by Latin America, the Middle East, and other markets at 22%, the US at 17%, and Asia-Pacific at 9%.

Despite the growth in committed revenue, DroneShield's shares have faced significant downward pressure, hitting a 52-week low of $1.42. The stock has declined approximately 57% in 2026. Investor sentiment has been impacted by a statutory net loss of $32.2 million reported for the first half of FY26, as well as an ongoing investigation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) regarding market announcements and share trading from November 2025.
