Dronryp festival assault: Parents offer €2,500 reward for footage

The parents of 21-year-old Milan are offering a €2,500 reward for video footage that identifies the individual responsible for a severe assault during the Skots & Skeef festival in Dronryp.

According to the victim's parents, Erik and Linda de Jong, the incident occurred on Sunday, August 16, around 21:10, while Milan was attempting to mediate a dispute. The parents stated that Milan was pulled to the ground from behind and subsequently kicked multiple times in the head while lying on the ground. The assault caused Milan to lose consciousness twice and resulted in a severe concussion.

Due to conflicting accounts of the event, the family is seeking visual evidence to clarify what happened. The appeal for information has been shared hundreds of times on social media.
