Drug arrests in Reggio Emilia involve two young men with hashish, marijuana and cocaine

Carabinieri in Reggio stopped a 24‑year‑old Egyptian man on Via Secchi after a suspicious behavior report. He was found with about 35 g of hashish, a seven‑centimetre cutter and €250 in cash, leading to charges of illegal weapon possession and drug trafficking.

Local police in the Parco del Noce Nero area arrested a 20‑year‑old on a scooter after residents alerted authorities. A search of the scooter’s storage compartment uncovered roughly 20 g of marijuana, nearly 50 g of hashish and 15 wraps of cocaine weighing a total of 8.51 g, together with €210 in cash. The youth, unemployed, could not explain the money’s source. Both arrests are part of ongoing investigations into drug distribution in Reggio Emilia.
