Drug enforcement operations lead to multiple arrests in Arkansas and Louisiana

Law enforcement agencies in Arkansas and Louisiana have conducted separate narcotics operations resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of controlled substances.

In Paragould, Arkansas, a traffic stop led to felony charges against Tom Lewis and Jennifer Heinrich. Police reported finding approximately 121.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, various prescription pills, THC vape pens, and nearly $3,000 in cash. Lewis faces multiple felony counts, including delivery of methamphetamine and possession of drugs and firearms. Investigators noted that Lewis allegedly admitted to selling drugs near a high school and a daycare.

In Denham Springs, Louisiana, the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office arrested five individuals during searches of two homes. Authorities seized approximately 78.6 grams of methamphetamine, 0.6 grams of fentanyl, a THC vape cartridge, and a semiautomatic rifle. Among those arrested, Janet Roberson faces charges including possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Other individuals were charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
