Druga gimnazija Varaždin receives new modern IT classroom

Druga gimnazija Varaždin has received a modern IT classroom equipped with 25 new computers and an interactive screen. This investment by Varaždin County coincides with the school's 20th anniversary.

During the opening ceremony, Varaždin County Prefect Anđelko Stričak emphasized that investing in education is an investment in the knowledge, creativity, and innovation of young people. He noted that the county, which founded 46 primary and secondary schools, now maintains 131 IT classrooms and 6,380 computers. This results in an average of 2.3 students per computer, compared to the European Union average of three students per computer.

The county has also previously established an Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and introduced robotics through its Centers of Excellence to allow students to apply academic knowledge to practical projects.
