Drummondville awards $3.2M contract for Saint-Joachim park pavilion

The City of Drummondville has awarded a $3.2 million contract for the construction of a new recreational tourism pavilion at Jean-Gamelin Park in Saint-Joachim. This project is part of the ‘Vision Saint-Joachim 2030’ and the 2023-2027 strategic planning orientations.

The new facility will serve as an arrival point for customers of Plein air Drummond and Extéria Terrain d’aventures, catering to increased visitor numbers in the area. Additionally, the building will house offices for the city’s Department of Leisure and Community Life, supporting the management of park facilities such as the outdoor skating rink and baseball field.
