Drummondville folklore spectacle revisited

The city of Drummondville previously hosted a large-scale outdoor multimedia spectacle known as ‘Légendes Fantastiques’ for 13 years. The production utilized the Saint-François amphitheater to bring Quebecois folklore to life through the work of hundreds of artists and volunteers.

Created in 1998, the show featured music by Michel Cusson and a script by Normand Latourelle. It depicted various legendary figures from local tradition, including the werewolf, the ‘Dame Blanche’, and ‘Le Bonhomme Sept Heures’. The spectacle was inspired by the success of ‘La Fabuleuse Histoire d’un Royaume’ and aimed to present high-quality multimedia storytelling based on regional myths.
