Drunk driver arrested after hit-and-run in Prażmów

A 47-year-old man was arrested in the Prażmów municipality after striking a woman with a Ford and fleeing the scene without providing assistance. The incident occurred in a parking area and was captured by surveillance cameras, which allowed police to quickly identify the driver and his residence.

Upon apprehension, the driver tested positive for nearly 2 per mille of alcohol. Investigations revealed that the man was already under a court-ordered ban on operating motor vehicles. He has been charged with causing a traffic accident, driving under the influence, and violating a judicial ban. The District Prosecutor's Office in Piaseczno has placed the suspect under police supervision.
