Two Trucks Collide and Ignite in Haryana, India, Killing One Driver

On July 20, 2026, two heavy trucks—a corn‑laden vehicle and a tanker—collided head‑on on the Rodha curve near Ishwarwal in Haryana, India. The impact ruptured the fuel tanks, causing a massive fire that engulfed both trucks within minutes. Rescue crews used an excavator to free the driver who was trapped in the twisted cabin; he suffered severe burns and was hospitalized in critical condition. The second driver was killed in the blaze.

The accident generated thick black smoke and destroyed the vehicles completely. Local residents attempted to assist before the fire intensified, and emergency services responded promptly to contain the blaze and treat the injured.
