Druski reportedly set to host Saturday Night Live in November

Internet comedian Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, is reportedly scheduled to host the November 7 episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live. If confirmed, the appearance would mark a milestone as the first time a digital creator primarily known for online content is selected to host the long-running sketch comedy program.

The report, originally noted by entertainment journalist Matthew Belloni of Puck, suggests a shift in mainstream entertainment as social media personalities increasingly transition to traditional television and film. While Saturday Night Live has previously featured online talent such as Andy Samberg and The Lonely Island, handing the hosting role to a comedian built on internet sketches is considered a new development.

As of mid-October, NBC has not officially confirmed the booking, and representatives for the show declined to comment on the report.
