DS Group implements digital transformation for AI readiness

DS Group is implementing a digital transformation strategy to become an AI-ready enterprise. The approach focuses on centralizing core IT functions—such as infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data standards—while maintaining flexibility for its diverse business verticals.

Santosh Singh, Senior Vice President of IT at DS Group, noted that while the IT backbone is shared across more than 20 manufacturing plants and 15 business verticals, the technology must adapt to specific business logics. This allows the group to manage varying operational needs, such as the daily procurement requirements of a dairy business versus the seasonal cycles of spice procurement.
