PSG players Désiré Doué and Warren Zaïre-Emery in spotlight

Paris Saint-Germain and France national team players are making headlines following recent international fixtures. Désiré Doué, the 21-year-old PSG attacker, has addressed his recent form, noting a need to improve his clinical finishing and composure in front of the goal. Despite a period of lower scoring, Doué has been a key figure for France under Zinédine Zidane, recently contributing significantly in a match against Belgium.

Zidane has expressed support for Ousmane Dembélé, defending the player's tactical movement and utility despite a lack of recent goals. Former international Bixente Lizarazu has also suggested that Zidane should continue experimenting with Dembélé in a central role to maximize his impact.

In individual honors, PSG's Warren Zaïre-Emery has been named as one of the 25 finalists for the 2026 Golden Boy award. He is the sole representative from Paris Saint-Germain in the shortlist, aiming to succeed former club teammate Désiré Doué, who won the trophy in 2025. Pau Cubarsí of FC Barcelona is currently considered a leading candidate for the award.
