Désirée Nick announces new Playboy photo spread

German cabaret artist and entertainer Désirée Nick has announced she will appear in a new photo spread for Playboy magazine. The feature is expected to be released in September as part of the October issue.

Nick, who is approaching her 70th birthday, previously made history at age 66 as one of the magazine's oldest cover models. She stated that her decision to pose is not merely about provocation, but about challenging age-related stereotypes. She noted that while nudity may not be surprising with younger models, she believes true interest and inspiration for women in the second half of life begin after age 60.

Nick expressed confidence in her current appearance, stating, “I never looked better than I do today.” Playboy editor-in-chief Florian Boitin acknowledged Nick as an “extraordinary woman” in response to the announcement.
