Désirée Nick celebrates 70th birthday with Berlin stage show

German entertainer and reality TV icon Désirée Nick is celebrating her 70th birthday on September 30. Rather than taking time off for the milestone, Nick intends to perform her show, ‘Reflection’, at the Berlin Wintergarten, which runs until October 4.

Nick gained widespread fame in Germany after winning the RTL jungle camp in 2004. However, her professional background extends far beyond reality television. She trained as a ballet dancer from 1965 to 1975, performing at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. Her diverse career also includes studying Catholic theology, working in London, and collaborating on theater and comedy projects in Berlin during the early 1990s.
