Düsseldorf celebrates World Children's Day with 120 stalls

Düsseldorf is hosting celebrations for World Children's Day, featuring more than 120 stalls located around the Rhine riverbank and the city hall. The event, themed ‘strong children, strong future’, aims to highlight children's rights and ensure their interests are heard.

Activities include hobbyhorsing, minigolf, music, and sports. As part of the program, children can participate in a Q&A session with Mayor Stephan Keller at the city hall between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM to learn about his daily responsibilities. Local officials emphasized the city's commitment to youth through increased budgets for schools and daycare centers, as well as support for the youth council and children's parliament.
