Düsseldorf Court appoints trustees for Tera Holding companies
The Düsseldorf District Court has issued a provisional bankruptcy order for three companies owned by Tera Holding: Tera Bau & Development, Tera Invest, and Tera Real Estate Management. Following a decision made on October 12, 2026, the court has frozen all assets belonging to these entities and appointed lawyer Holger Rhode as trustee to oversee the insolvency proceedings.
The affected companies manage significant real estate assets in Germany, including a 431-room hotel in Düsseldorf and a 72-room hotel project in Solingen. The total value of these investments is estimated at approximately 200 million euros. These assets were reportedly acquired following Tera Holding's takeover of Peker GYO last year.
While the identity of the party that filed for bankruptcy remains undisclosed, records indicate that Peker GYO previously announced a 31.2 million euro cash loan from the Netherlands-based DHB Bank N.V. via Tera Real Estate GmbH. This suggests the Dutch bank may be a major creditor for the German operations.
