Düsseldorf Court sentences 'Rich Kids' drug gang to prison

The Düsseldorf District Court has sentenced six members of a drug trafficking gang, known as the 'Rich Kids,' to prison terms ranging from five to twelve years. The group, which included individuals from wealthy families in the Rhineland, was convicted of forming a criminal organization and engaging in large-scale drug trafficking.

According to court findings, the gang operated from 2022 until March 2025, selling approximately one ton of cocaine, four tons of marijuana, 20 liters of amphetamine oil, and thousands of ecstasy and oxycodon tablets. The total estimated revenue from these activities reached eleven million euros.

The two primary leaders, identified as Maximilian G. and Marvin G., received sentences of twelve years and eleven and a half years, respectively. The court also ordered the seizure of millions of euros in criminal proceeds. While the current trial involved six defendants, authorities indicated that more than 40 people may have been involved in the organization, suggesting further legal proceedings may follow.
