Düsseldorf expands resident parking zones in Bilk and Flingern-Nord

Düsseldorf has announced the introduction of four new resident parking zones, scheduled to take effect as early as November 1, 2026. Three of these zones will be located in the Bilk district—covering Brunnenstraße, Aachener Straße, and Volmerswerther Straße—while the fourth will be established in Flingern-Nord at Lindenplatz.

Under the new regulations, resident parking permits will cost 25 euros annually when purchased online or 30 euros at the citizen service center. Visitors will be required to pay 0.60 euros per twelve minutes on weekdays between 9:00 and 20:00, with no maximum parking duration. Parking machines are expected to be installed starting in mid-September. Following these additions, Düsseldorf will have a total of 49 resident parking zones.
