Düsseldorf shooting clubs hold traditional festivals and coronations
Local shooting clubs in the Düsseldorf area recently held their traditional festivals and coronation ceremonies.
In Urdenbach, the Bürger-Schützenverein celebrated its new royalty. Inka Garn shot the king bird, and her daughter Laura Garn shot the prince bird. Because Laura Garn achieved the title of prince for a third time, she was designated as 'Kaiser' (Emperor). The event included the coronation ball and honors for Inka and Thomas Garn from the Rheinischer Schützenbund.
In Unterbach, the St. Hubertus Schützenbruderschaft 1870 held a four-day festival. Gerhard Fuhrmann secured the kingship for the third time, earning the title of 'Schützenkaiser'. The festival featured community events, music, and a parade, with Lars and Sabine Schweden serving as the reigning royal pair during the festivities.
