Florida tourism industry honors DT Minich and Flagler Award winners

The Florida tourism industry has announced the 2026 Flagler Award winners and the latest inductee into the Florida Tourism Hall of Fame. The honors were presented during VISIT FLORIDA’s annual Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism in West Palm Beach.

DT Minich, President and CEO of Experience Kissimmee, has been named the 2026 inductee into the Florida Tourism Hall of Fame. Minich is recognized for over three decades of leadership across three Florida destination marketing organizations: Lee County Visitor and Convention Bureau, Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, and Experience Kissimmee.

The 2026 Flagler Awards, now in their 26th year, recognized outstanding marketing initiatives from nearly 300 entries. Winners were selected by an independent panel across 18 categories, including digital advertising, social media, and sustainability. The highest-scoring entries in each category received the Henry Award, named in honor of Henry Flagler.
