DTVKit and RED announce technology showcases for IBC2026

Several technology providers have announced upcoming demonstrations for the IBC2026 exhibition in Amsterdam.

DTVKit and Ocean Blue Software will showcase a production-ready DVB-I Client. This shared-source, royalty-free solution is designed for smart TVs, set-top boxes, and hybrid television platforms. The implementation uses native C++ for efficiency and features a JSON-based API to allow integration with web-based user interfaces across various operating systems, including Android and Linux.

RED will present next-generation live broadcast technology centered on immersive sports experiences. Using V-RAPTOR cameras equipped with dual fisheye spherical lenses, the demonstration will capture 8K video at 50fps to provide a 180-degree immersive broadcast experience streamed to Apple Vision Pro headsets. The showcase also highlights high-speed 4K 240p super-slow-motion replays and end-to-end broadcast workflows designed for live entertainment production.
