Dua Lipa and Hugo Cocktail Drive Summer Food Trend
The Hugo cocktail was created in 2005 by bartender Roland Gruber in South Tyrol, northern Italy. Made with sparkling wine or prosecco, elderflower syrup, mineral water, lemon or lime and mint, it is praised for being cheap, quick to prepare and especially refreshing in warm weather, leading to a surge in its popularity across the region.
At Kosovo’s Sunny Hill Festival, pop star Dua Lipa was photographed late at night eating a burger in a flatbread, sparking a wave of social‑media buzz. Her influence prompted influencers and fast‑food chains to launch new items and encouraged a broader revival of casual, unapologetic enjoyment of food during the summer months.
