Dua Lipa attends Metropolitan Opera gala in Ferragamo gown
Singer Dua Lipa attended the world premiere gala of the opera ‘Lincoln in the Bardo’ at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City on October 19. The event, held at Lincoln Center, celebrated the stage adaptation of George Saunders’ Booker Prize-winning novel.
Lipa wore a black gown from Ferragamo’s Spring 2027 collection, designed by creative director Maximilian Davis. The ensemble featured a bandeau-style bodice, sheer chiffon embellished with gold thread, crystals, and blue paillettes, a high slit, and detached billowing sleeves. She paired the look with black heels from the same collection and minimal accessories.
Lipa arrived at the star-studded event alongside her husband, actor Callum Turner, who wore a classic black suit. Other notable attendees included Amy Poehler and Bowen Yang. During the evening, Lipa expressed her appreciation for the art form, noting that opera ‘touches on all our human emotions, you know, love and grief and loss and ambition and hope.’
