Dua Lipa's Chanel Wedding Gown Revealed with 480,000 Hand‑Embroidered Pearls
Singer Dua Lipa unveiled the haute‑couture wedding dress created by Chanel for her marriage to actor Calum Turner. The gown, designed by creative director Matthieu Blazé, was hand‑crafted in Chanel’s Paris ateliers and features 480,000 hand‑embroidered pearls, 25,000 feathers, and a six‑meter silk train. More than 1,100 hours of artisan work were required, and the look was completed with bespoke white satin shoes.
The couple first exchanged vows on 31 May in an intimate ceremony in London, followed a week later by a larger celebration in Sicily attended by family and friends. Chanel described dressing Dua Lipa for this “most important day” as a great honour, noting the dress as the fashion house’s first dedicated wedding creation for a long‑time friend of the brand.
