Dua Lipa's London home renovation delays move-in until 2027

Pop star Dua Lipa purchased a West Hampstead property in London in 2020 and plans extensive upgrades, including a multi‑level basement with a swimming pool, music studio and cinema. The renovation, costing around £3‑£3.9 million, faced a three‑year planning permission delay and construction only began in 2024.

Work is expected to finish in July 2027, meaning Lipa and husband Callum Turner will not be able to occupy the home until then. Local conservation groups have protested the project over concerns about loss of green space, trees and drainage, while the construction team has pledged noise‑ and dust‑control measures.

The couple are renting nearby while the work proceeds, and the delay follows their recent wedding in Italy.
