Duan Jansen called up to South Africa cricket squad for Namibia tour

Duan Jansen, the twin brother of South African pacer Marco Jansen, has received his maiden senior call-up for South Africa’s upcoming white-ball tour of Namibia. The 15-member squad will participate in a T20I tri-series involving Namibia and Zimbabwe in Windhoek from August 28 to September 6, followed by a historic three-match ODI series against Namibia from September 9 to 13.

Coach Shukri Conrad noted that the squad selection aims to provide continuity and international exposure. Duan Jansen, a left-arm all-rounder, earned his spot following an impressive domestic season where he was named the Division 1 One Day Cup Player of the Year. The squad will be led by spinner Bjorn Fortuin and includes centrally contracted players such as Dewald Brevis, Tony de Zorzi, and Kwena Maphaka.

Other notable inclusions include Eathan Bosch, who will make his T20I debut, alongside Connor Esterhuizen, Jordan Hermann, and Nqobani Mokoena, who have received their first ODI call-ups.
