Dušan Kosič faces uncertain future at Lokomotiv Plovdiv

The future of Slovenian coach Dušan Kosič at Lokomotiv Plovdiv is increasingly uncertain due to financial instability at the club. Following the withdrawal of the club's primary financier, Lokomotiv Plovdiv is currently searching for a new owner. The situation has become so critical that supporters have begun collecting funds to support the club's activities.

Despite having a contract until the summer of 2028, Kosič may leave the club earlier. He has reportedly attracted interest from foreign clubs and has been considered by the Bulgarian Football Union (BFS) to lead the national team. Kosič has stated that he hopes for a solution, noting, “We want to survive.”

To encourage higher attendance, the club has also reduced ticket prices for its upcoming match against Slavia.
