Dušan Smodej faces indictment in Fotopub affair

An indictment has been released against Dušan Smodej in connection with the Fotopub affair, detailing severe criminal allegations. According to the prosecution, Smodej is accused of multiple offenses, including sexual violence, death threats, and the forced administration of GHB. One of the alleged victims was a minor at the time of the incidents. Reports also indicate allegations of physical abuse, such as extinguishing cigarettes on a victim's body.

In response to the legal proceedings, Smodej has broken his silence in an interview, denying the charges of sexual violence and coercion while admitting that significant amounts of alcohol and drugs were present at his gatherings. During the interview, Smodej leveled accusations against political figure Luka Mesec, claiming that Mesec's use of cocaine was a 'public secret' and alleging that he had been pressured to remain silent about it in the past. Mesec has dismissed these claims as part of a 'dirty mayoral campaign' in Ljubljana.
