Dušan Vesić commemoration scheduled in Belgrade

A commemoration for the recently deceased journalist and writer Dušan Vesić will be held in Belgrade on Saturday, September 12, at 6:00 PM in the SOKOJ club. His funeral service is scheduled for Monday, September 14, at the Topčidersko cemetery.

Vesić was a prominent journalist, critic, and chronicler of rock culture, becoming one of Yugoslavia’s most influential rock journalists. He served as an editor for Rock and Pop Rock magazines and authored several books, including works on the band Bijelo dugme, Margita Stefanović, and the Yugoslav New Wave. He also contributed to the TV series ‘Rockovnik’ and a documentary on the group Ekatarina Velika.
