Dušan Vlahović scores six goals in five matches for Beşiktaş

Beşiktaş striker Dušan Vlahović has demonstrated significant form in the Turkish Süper Lig, scoring six goals in five league matches. This performance averages one goal every 62 minutes of play.

Amid his scoring run, controversy has emerged regarding a disallowed goal during a derby match against Fenerbahçe. The Turkish Football Federation, through an analysis by elite referee director Anthony Taylor, confirmed that a decision to disallow a goal by Vlahović was a mistake. Taylor noted that Vlahović did not commit a foul on Ngolo Kanté and suggested the referee should have delayed the whistle to allow for a VAR review.

Vlahović's recent scoring streak includes a penalty in a 2-1 victory over Kocaelispor.
