Dubai businesses launch back-to-school promotions

Various businesses in Dubai and the wider UAE are launching promotions to coincide with the back-to-school season.

Ride-hailing app Zed is offering a 30% discount on school-related journeys across Dubai through September 30, 2026. The discount is capped at AED 20 per ride and can be redeemed using the code SCHOOL. Additionally, the company is providing 15% cashback on the first 15 rides each month via the Zed Wallet for eligible taxi and premium limousine services.

In the food and beverage sector, several establishments have introduced seasonal deals. ANA Restaurant is offering complimentary kids' meals with the purchase of an adult main course until September 15, provided children are wearing school uniforms. Ladurée is providing free Eugénie biscuits to children in uniform with the purchase of a drink and dessert through September 30. SALT is offering free mango softies to students and teachers in uniform or with university ID until September 7.
