Dubai closes ‘A Dubai Invite’ registration after 90,000 applications

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has closed registrations for the ‘A Dubai Invite’ program following an overwhelming response of more than 90,000 applications from local residents.

Launched in July, the initiative encourages residents to act as city ambassadors by inviting friends and family from abroad. To meet the high demand, DET and its partners increased the number of available benefit packages by more than three times. To date, over 30,000 benefit packages have been distributed.

Successful applicants receive perks valued at over 3,000 AED (approximately 700 EUR), including discounts on hotel stays, dining, and entry to major attractions such as Aquaventure Waterpark and IMG Worlds of Adventure. While new registrations are closed, the program remains active for those who successfully registered before the limit was reached. Eligible visitors must arrive in Dubai directly from outside the UAE by October 31, 2026, to qualify for the benefits.
