Dubai doubles Oraseya Capital fund to AED 1 billion

The Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) has announced that its investment arm, Oraseya Capital, is doubling its venture capital fund from AED 500 million to AED 1 billion. This expansion is intended to bolster Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation and future industries, specifically supporting companies with global growth potential in sectors such as AI and fintech.

In addition to the fund increase, DIEZ has raised the maximum investment allowed per company from USD 3 million to USD 6 million (approximately AED 22 million). This change enables the fund to participate in larger funding rounds and support companies at more advanced stages of growth. The investment scope will also expand to include global companies of strategic relevance to the region.
