Dubai Holding signs record AED 5 billion construction deal

Dubai Holding has signed a record-breaking AED 5 billion construction contract with China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME). This marks the largest construction award in the group’s history.

The agreement covers two major projects: the development of a new corporate headquarters for Dubai Holding and the Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers. The new headquarters, designed by the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), is intended to unify the group’s operations in a modern, integrated workplace and is scheduled for completion in 2029.

The Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers project will consist of two towers featuring 754 branded luxury residences. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Holding, and attended by UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs Mohamed Hadi Al Hussaini and Chinese Consul General Ou Boqian.
