Dubai hosts Arab Media Summit 2026 focusing on AI and film

The Dubai Press Club has announced the agenda for the Arab Media Forum, a key component of the Arab Media Summit 2026. Scheduled to take place in Dubai from September 15 to 17, the event will host political and media leaders to discuss geopolitical shifts, the future of news, and the impact of artificial intelligence on content creation.

As part of the summit, the Dubai Media Council will highlight the film and gaming sectors through two dedicated forums organized by the Dubai Films and Games Commission. These forums aim to transition media creativity from mere consumption to a robust economy by connecting creators, funders, and publishers. Officials noted that Dubai is positioning itself as a central hub for the industry, leveraging its infrastructure and market access to attract global studios and intellectual property development.
